Purpose:
To provide the public with a guide to our standards and commitment

Who we are:
We are an arm of the State established by the Constitution of Sierra Leone, with the Chief Justice at its head. We are mandated to exercise judicial functions being subject only to the Constitution and the Laws of Sierra Leone.

Mission:
Our mission is to adjudicate over all matters criminal or civil, and to uphold the Constitution and The rule of law, in order to promote national peace and development.

Our commitment to you:
We will ensure that all persons coming through our courts and premises will be treated fairly and with the utmost respect. We will endeavour to adjudicate and settle all disputes before us in a fairly manner, being subject only to the Constitution and the Laws of Sierra Leone and not to any other allegiance of person, tribe or nationality.
Our officials will be courageous, explain court procedures and help you to navigate our courts.
We will act in an accountable and open manner, providing information about our actual performance in accordance with the judicial code of conduct. We are committed to accepting and handling all verbal and written complaints about our services in a confidential, fairly and effective manner.
