In a bid to reinforce its commitment to expanding access to justice through decentralization, the Chief Justice of Sierra Leone, His Lordship Justice Komba Kamanda, has assigned High Court Judges to serve as Resident Judges in key regions.
Under the new assignments, a Resident Judge will be stationed in Kono, with special responsibility for Magburaka; Moyamba, with special responsibility for Mattru Jong; Port Loko, with special responsibility for Kambia; and Kenema, with special responsibility for Kailahun.
