Pademba Road Magistrate’s Court No.3, Freetown 8th September, 2023: His Worship Magistrate Santigie Bangura has remanded two accused persons for unlawful possession of Kush.
The 1st accused Umaru Samura was found in possession of 33 wraps of Indian hemp to wit “Kush,” and a huge quantity of loosed Indian hemp; while the 2nd accused Mariama Kamara was found in possession of 53 wraps of Indian hemp to wit “Kush” contrary to Section 48(i) of the Pharmacy and Drugs Act of 2001.
The particulars of offence revealed that on 20th July, 2023, at Main Regent Road, Regent Freetown, in the Mountain Rural District in the Republic of Sierra Leone, the accused persons were found in possession of Indian hemp to wit, Kush.
Magistrate Santigie Bangura remanded them until the 11th day of September, 2023.
